Quick Bars is a desktop tool which creates a slideout menu with graphic buttons.

The Quick Bars menus are hidden off screen until needed. A flick of the mouse over the "hotspot" will activate the menu to slide out onto the screen for usage. Once on the screen the user can left-click a button to execute the task or right-click a button to display a pop-up menu. The pop-up menu will list options to modify the toolbars and buttons.

All data for the toolbar settings and button properties are saved in an XML file created by the application. The file is located in the same folder as the installed application. The file is in conventional XML format and can be manually edited.

Manual editing can often be advantageous for copying and pasting common buttons between toolbars. The application always reads the current XML data so manual editing does not require restarting the application.
