Quick Bars Dialog

When Quick Bars is started the Quick Bars dialog is presented:

Here you can:

• add new bars,
• edit bars,
• delete bars or
• open the selected bar for active use.

If you selected "Add bar" or "Edit Bar", this will bring you to the Bar Settings dialog.

In this dialog you can:

• Create or modify the name and the description for the bar.
• Select the width and height of the buttons
• Click "Font" to display the standard Font Dialog to select the font for the buttons.

Tool Bar Dialog

After opening a bar from the Quick Bars dialog touching the mouse to the top right edge of the screen, (area is highlighted by a vertical red line), will cause the following Tool bar to emerge from the right side of your screen.

You cannot have more than one bar open at once. 

The first time you run Quick Bars the bar will have one unassigned button.  To add and modify buttons or to change the bar's settings, right click anywhere on a buton to reveal the pop-up menu, shown below.

Click "Add Button" to add a new button or view "Edit Button" to change the button's text, icon and action.  To remove a button click "Delete Button" which will remove the button after you have confirmed the action. Change bar will take you to the Quick Bars dialog

"Quit" stops the application.

Button Properties Dialog

The Button Properties dialog is accessed from the "Tool Bar" pop-up menu by right clicking on a button.

Button Name

Enter a name for the button.  This is the text that appears on the button.

Graphic

Optionally add an icon image to the button.  Click the browse button to locate an icon.

Execute File

This allows you to make the button execute a file.  QuickBars can run executable files (.exe, .bat, .hta, etc).
